
Team Liquid — one of the most dominant esports organisations worldwide with 30M+ fans and partnerships with Marvel, Honda, SAP, Alienware, and Coinbase — needed a next-generation digital fan ecosystem. They wanted to transform how millions of fans interact with the organisation through Web3-enabled engagement, but required seamless onboarding for both crypto-native and mainstream audiences. The platform had to integrate into their existing website, scale for high-traffic global activations, and give admins full control over digital item creation, minting, and analytics.
We engineered a full Web3 fan engagement and battle-pass platform on top of Team Liquid's existing React codebase. The system includes a fully on-chain digital pass with rarity tiers, unlockables, and season-based progression. We built an XP, streak, and achievement engine for large-scale activations, cross-title engagement mechanics, real-time activity tracking, and automated reward distribution. On the admin side, we delivered dashboards for digital item CRUD, manual minting, per-item and season-wide NFT analytics, and user-specific Web3 metrics. User-facing features include wallet connect (MetaMask & Coinbase), an NFT minting overlay, and a filterable inventory page — all built for a distributed engineering team across multiple time zones.
